Born Sept. 27, 1950, in Milford Township, he is the son of the late James and Rosie (Reckner) Purbaugh. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kelly (Chitester) Purbaugh; son, William Lee Purbaugh, at home; stepson, Jesse O'Kinsky and wife Diana, Somerset; and brothers, Donald Purbaugh, Casselman, James Purbaugh, Mercer; and Edward Purbaugh, Rockwood. He was employed by several trucking companies over the years and was currently hauling Fleetwood Campers for Premium Enterprises. He was a member of the Somerset VFW Post 554. He was an avid Steelers fan and loved Fords. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Beulah United Methodist Church. The Rev. Mark Bendes officiating. Interment at Somerset County Memorial Park.
