  PURBAUGH
  
  William H. Purbaugh, 81, Meyersdale RD 1, died March 18, 1985, Sacred
  Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Feb. 7, 1904, in Mt. Savage, a
  son of the late Henry and Emma (Hutzell) Purbaugh.  He is survived by
  his wife, the former Mary Bowman; and these children:  William J. of
  Newton Falls, Ohio; Mrs. Carol Phillips, LaVale, Md.; eight
  grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.  A brother of Reaford of
  Oakland, Md.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at
  the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted
  at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Ronald Warrick officiating. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery.
