  PURVIS
  
  Ruth Purvis, 85, of New Brighton, formerly of Somerset, died March
  19, 1986, in New Brighton.  Born Feb. 5, 1901, in Somerset, the
  daughter of the late Whitelaw and Jennie (Flick) Sechler.  Also
  preceded in death by four sisters, Ethel Sechler Haupt, Edna Sechler
  Dowling, Fay Sechler Newell and Dorothy Sechler Burns.  Survived by
  nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday
  and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home,
  where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., the Rev. H. James
  Meyers officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
