  CARL E. PUTMAN
  
    Carl E. Putman, 66, Rockwood RD 3, died May 6, 1976 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.
    He was born June 22, 1909, in Middlecreek Township, a son of the
  late Charles B. and Memertha Cramer Putman.
    He is survived by his wife the former Sada Hayman:  four children,
  Charles E., Harry W. and Carl Jr., all of Rockwood RD 3; and Mrs.
  Sally Brokaw, Somerset RD 6; nine grandchildren.
    He was the brother of Charles B. Putman, Mrs. Bess Coughenour, and
  Mrs. Maude Vough, all of Cuyoga Falls, Ohio.  Member of Barrons
  Lutheran Church, and a retired construction worker.
    Friends were received in the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where
  funeral services were conducted Saturday with Rev. Gregory Pile, and
  James Vandervort officiating.
    Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
