DAVID PUTMAN

  David Putman, aged 75, one of Rockwood's highly respected citizens, died at 
his home on East Broadway on Monday morning, January 25th.  He is survived by 
his wife, Mrs. Mary Ellen (Enfield) Putman, and one son, Peter, of Rockwood, 
also by three sisters - Mrs. Joseph Hauger and Mrs. Dolly Hostetler, both of 
Rockwood, and Mrs. R. H. Walker, of Akron, O.
  Mr. Putman was engaged as a painter and paper hanger for many years in 
Rockwood.
  The funeral services on Wednesday afternoon were conducted by Rev. H. L. 
Logsdon of Stoyestown, formerly pastor of the Rockwood Reformed Church.
