Born July 19, 1910 in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Noah and Fannie (Eash) Beeghly. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert Barnes Putman who died on Jan. 16, 1986' and brothers, Wilbert and Kenneth Beeghly. Survived by these children: Mrs. Thelma Foust of Somerset; Mrs. Ralph Wilbur (Janet) Bowers of Listie and Mrs. Eveline Tirko, widow of George Tirko of Listie; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Mildred Fritz-Willis of Listie and Mrs. Florence Lafferty of Somerset. A member of Geiger Church of the Brethren, Listie Fire Company Auxiliary and cook for the former Jo's Restaurant of Somerset retiring in 1958. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at Geiger Church of the Brethren. Friends with the Rev. Gerald E. Deffenbaugh officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
