  ETHEL (ROMESBURG) PUTMAN
  
  Ethel (Romesburg) Putman, 87, of Patriot Manor, formerly of Rockwood, went
  to be with the Lord on Feb. 14, 2004.  She was born in Paddytown near Fort
  Hill on Dec. 31, 1916.  Preceded in death by her parents, William and Irene
  (McVay) Romesburg; husband Ralston "Rod" Putman who died Feb. 18, 1998;
  sister, Olive Wenzel; and brothers, Paul and James Romesburg. Survived by
  her daughters, Shirley, married to Harold Kaufman of Rockwood and Nancy,
  married to George Bowman of Casselman; son Rodney, married to Sara Jane
  (Christner) of Rockwood; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two
  great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Ruffe and Hazel Walker of
  Frostburg, Md. and Viola Engle of Oregon, Ohio; and brother Glen Romesburg
  of Warren, Ohio.  She was a member of the Casselman United Methodist Church
  and loved to cook and spend time with her family.  Friends may call from 2
  to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where service
  will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.  The Rev. Peter Foreman officiating. 
  Interment at Kingwood IOOF Cemetery.
