  MRS. JOHN A. PUTMAN
  
    Iva M. Putman, 87, Meyersdale, died Sept. 19, 1972, in Berlin. 
  Born in Scottdale, Jan. 14, 1885, she was a daughter of Aaron and
  Katherine (Younkin) Lape.  She was preceded in death by her husband,
  John A. Putman, and four children.
    Surviving are these children:  Mrs. Mabel O'Hartz, Mrs. Evelyn
  Nedrow, Mrs. Jean Schardt and Albert J. Putman, all of Somerset RD 5;
  Roy K. Putman, Boswell RD 2; Mrs. Stella Fisher, Somerset RD 2; Mrs.
  June Hay, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Maude Eller, Alliquippa; also 26
  grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
    She was a member of the Missionary Alliance Church in Gray.
    Funeral service will be held Friday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home, Somerset, with Rev. William E. Hardie officiating.  Interment
  in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
