  PUTMAN
  
    Mollie O. Putman, 96, of Hooversville, died Aug. 15, 1997 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Sept. 22, 1900 in Shade Township, daughter
  of sylvester and Quinnie (Rodger) Powell.  Preceded in death by
  parents, husband; Lindsay H., son, Ray, two brothers, five sisters
  and son-in-law Lewis Berkey.  Survived by these children:  M. Oleda
  Berkey, Hooversville; Lindsay P. married to the former Velma Bentz
  and Glenn L., married to the former Barbara Rininger both of
  Stoystown; and Robert S. "Wes" married to the former Judy
  Espenschied, Canton, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 16 great
  grandchildren; and a sister, Winifred Moorehead, Arizona.  Member of
  Hooversville United Methodist Church.  Family will receive friends
  from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Hooversville, where service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday.  Rev.
  Robert G. Doyle.  Interment P.O.S. of A. Cemetery, Hooversville. 
  Memorial contributions may be given to Hooversville U.M. Church.
