WILLIAM M. PUTMAN

  William Michael Putman, 91, retired farmer, died at 6:30 o'clock last Thursday 
evening at the home of his son, William B. Putman, Casselman.  He spent his 
entire life in Somerset County.  His wife died 12 years ago.  Surviving are two 
sons, John A. and William Putman; a sister, Mrs. Mary King, Salem, N.J.; 18 
grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Mt. 
Zion United Brethren Church by Rev. J. R. Peterson, pastor.  Interment in the 
church cemetery, under the direction of Mills & Mickey, Rockwood morticians.
