Born Sept. 28, 1907, in Stonycreek Township, daughter of the late Irvin Ephraim and Melissa (Glessner) Brant. Preceded in death by husband, Clarence F. Pyle; three brothers; and two sisters. Survived by one sister and one brother: Catherine Martz, La Vale, Md.; and George E. Brant, Somerset; also a number of nieces and nephews. Member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, Crusaders Bible Class and the LCW, Somerset Garden Club, Somerset Grange, Wimodaus Rebekah Lodge 217, Somerset. Retired from the Somerset County Extension Office. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Funeral services Sunday at 2 p.m. in Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, Pastor George Walton officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
