Pyle, 81, 214 Center St. Boswell, died March 25, 1985, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born April 23, 1903, in Meyersdale, son of Henry and Mary Alice (Tipton) Pyle. Preceded in death by parents; son, Ronald, died March 16, 1984; several sisters and brothers and one great grandson. Survived by widow, former Edna Mae Adams; two children: Marietta, wife of Lloyd Koontz, Blairsville RD 1; Jay A., married to former Nancy Ryniak, Lanham, Md.; also daughter-in-law, Grace Pyle, Somerset; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Brother of: Emma Dixon, Lewistown, Pa.; Margaret Turner, Frostburg, Md.; Ruth Thompson, Erie, Pa; Harrison, and William, both of Ravenna, Ohio. Member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Boswell; UMW of A., Local 1742, Jenners; oldest member of Boswell Fire Department; celebrated 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 7, 1984. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev.
