  PYLE
  
  Carl W. Pyle, 87, Friedens RD 1, died July 12, 1988, in his home.  He
  was born Sept. 3, 1901, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, son of the late
  Lincoln and Ellen (Romesburg) Pyle.  Preceded in death by three
  brothers and two sisters.  Survived by his wife, the former Virginia
  Howland; one sister, Sadie Walters, Clarkston, Wash.; four nieces:
  Eleanor Ansell, Delores Kinsinger; Virginia Milliron; and Fadra
  Reichard.  He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church.  His
  death terminates a marriage union of 57 years.  He was retired from
  PennDOT; Somerset Bus Co.; and Somerset Door and Column.  Friends
  will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, Wednesday, in Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Thursday at
  10:30 a.m., the Rev. Charles F. Olson officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
