  Mrs. Dorothea Ann Pyle, 91, of Somerset, died Jan. 20, 1978, in the
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born August 8, 1886 in Somerset, a
  daughter of the late Jacob and Carolyne Kifer Thomas.  Preceded in
  death by her husband, Jeremiah H.; two daughters; five sisters and
  two brothers.  Survived by the following children: Mrs. Carolyne
  Watson of Berlin RD 3; Mrs. Earl (Elizabeth) Baughman of Charleroi;
  Mrs. Emory Uleta Gashaw of Somerset RD 7; and four grandchildren:
  Jerry Michaels of N.J.; Phyllis Reis of Calif.; and Dorothea Michaels
  of Dunbar; and Linda Brougher of Bethel Park; and four great
  grandchildren.  Member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren. 
  Friends are being received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where
  services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Roger Forry
  and the Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating.  Interment, St. John's
  Cemetery.
