Born Nov. 3, 1909 in Jennings, Garrett County, Md., a daughter of Charles F. and Minerva (Brenneman) Faidley. Preceded in death by parents; two brothers, Paul and Frank Faidley; five sisters: Ethel Miller, Ruth Hetrick, Orpha Wiley, Mildred Houpt and Hazel Faidley. Survived by children: Sandra J. Pyle of Pittsburgh; Ronald D. married to the former Judy Kipp of Somerset; and Mrs. Joseph (Sharon) Caha of Walkersville, Md.; 4 grandchildren, Monte Richey, Mrs. Eric (Dixie) Chappell, April Pyle and Amber Pyle and great granddaughter, Jordan Chappell. Sister of: Mrs. Helen Gerhardt, Somerset; Mrs. Pauline Arnold, Somerset; Mrs. Paul (Betty) Coleman, Johnstown and sister-in-law, Margie Faidley of New Castle, Pa. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church. A 1929 graduate of Somerset High School. Retired motel manager for the former Cobblers Motel of Somerset. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday with Rev. James McCormick, Jr. officiating.
