She was a daughter of Jacob and Lottie (Lohr) Miller of Somerfield, her mother having died when Eva was but 15 months of age. On April 7, 1928, she was united in marriage with Dewey M. Pyle, who, with a two-year-old daughter, Fadra June, survives her. She is also survived by her father, Jacob Miller, and her step-mother, and one sister, Mabel Miller, of near Salisbury; one brother, Webster Miller, of Addison; two half-sisters, Anna Miller, of Meyersdale, and Grace, at home, and one half-brother, Ross, at home. She was a kind and devoted wife, mother and sister, and loved by all who knew her. Funeral services were conducted in the Lutheran Church at Addison on Tuesday afternoon, May 3, at 2:30 o'clock by her pastor, Rev. George O. Ritter. Interment in the Addison Cemetery with Undertaker C. B. Humbert, of Confluence, in charge. Meyersdale Republican, May 26, 1932
