Born March 5, 1903, in Milford Township, a daughter of Harry Unrah and Maude McCune (Critchfield) Pyle. Preceded in death by parents and brothers Clarence T. Pyle and George S. Pyle. Survived by four nephews; two nieces; four great nieces; four great nephews; four great-great nephews; four great-great nieces and three great-great grandnieces. Sister of Mrs. Pearl Hankey of Somerset. Retired in 1964 as an elementary school teacher in the Shade School District. Graduated from California Normal School in 1923. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Trinity Chapter #138 O.E.S. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, with the Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. No viewing at the church.
