Pyle, 68, of West Newton, died Tuesday, February 1, 1983, in H. C. Frick Community Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Born July 6, 1914, in Boynton, he was a son of the late Charles and Effie (Williams) Pyle. He was a retired carpenter for Shusters Building Supply Co., North Huntingdon. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy (Troup) Pyle; three sisters: Elsie Holler and Grace Holler, both of Boynton; and Essie Engle of Meyersdale RD 1; and a brother, Jack Pyle of Salisbury. Funeral services were at William McCauley Jr. Funeral Home, West Newton, with the Rev. Arthur R. Day Jr., officiating. Interment in West Newton Cemetery. The Republic, March 3, 1983 [P1167]
