    George S. Pyle, 81, Somerset RD 8, (Stepping Stones), died Oct. 19,
  1986 at his residence.  Born July 11, 1905 in Milford Township, son of
  the late Harry and Maude (Critchfield) Pyle.  Preceded in death by
  wife, former Agnes M. Romesburg; daughter, Marie Crawley; and
  brother, Clarence.  Survived by these children: Norman S., Somerset
  RD 8; and Mrs. Eugene (Eileen) Brant, Somerset RD 2; 14 grandchildren
  and 16 great-grandchildren.  Brother of: 
  Miss Evelyn Pyle, Somerset; and Mrs. Pearl Hankey, North Huntingdon,
  Pa.  Member of Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset; F.O.E. Aerie
  1801, I.O.O.F. Lodge 438; Elks Lodge 1951 and F&AM Lodge 358. 
  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral
  Home, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev.
  Charles Olson officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
