  PYLE
  
    Helen J. Pyle, 75, Pine Hill Road, Berlin, died July 14, 1997 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born June 12, 1922 in Brothersvalley Township. 
  Daughter of Charles and Anna (Krevda) Hummel. Preceded in death by
  parents; brothers, George, Frank, John, Michael, and Andrew Hummel
  and sister, Mary Veskosky.  Survived by her husband of 53 years,
  Calvin A.; son, Calvin G., married to the former Barbara Hittie,
  Berlin; grandsons, Matthew and Nathan Pyle and sister, Ann C. Pyle;
  special niece and nephew, Kay Ann Rupert and Ben C. Pyle.  Member of
  First United Methodist Church, Somerset and DAV Auxiliary.  Family
  will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held
  at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Charles F. Olson officiating. 
  Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Somerset.  Memorial contributions may
  be given to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice or First United Methodist
  Church.
