  PYLE
  
    Joseph Wallace Pyle, 69, of Somerset RD 8 died July 25, 1981 at
  Altoona VA Hospital.  Born Aug. 7, 1911 in Somerset, son of the late
  Martin Wallace and Emma Mae (Zimmerman) Pyle.  Also preceded in death
  by brothers: Benjamin and George.  Survived by widow, the former Elsie
  Reese; these children: Ernest R., Somerset RD 1; Philip, of Joppa,
  Md.; and Bernice, wife of Stephen Revello, Somerset.  Also eight
  grandchildren.  Brother of Glenn, Somerset; Hamilton, Somerset RD 1;
  and Fred, Mayo, Md.  Member of First Christian Church of Somerset,
  VFW, American Legion.  Veteran of World War II and a retiree from the
  New Enterprise Lime and Stone Co.  Friends are being received today
  (Monday) at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be
  conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Gene Sellers
  officiating.  Interment, St. John's Cemetery.
