LUCINDA PYLE

  Mrs. Lucinda Pyle, aged 79, wife of Romanus Pyle, died Sunday night, April 
13th, at the Pyle home in Jefferson Township, after a long illness.  She was a 
daughter of David and Mary M. (Neimiller) Pletcher and was born in Somerset 
County.  She is survived by her husband and these children: Mrs. Ida Tinkey, of 
Jones' Mills; Mary Pletcher, of Jefferson Township; Mrs. Amanda Channing, of 
Masontown; Mrs. Jennie Madden, of Akron, O., and Wilson, of Scullton.
  She was a sister of Mrs. Hiram Romesburg, of Somerset Township; Mrs. Lizzie 
Pyle, of Scullton, and Irvin Pletcher, of Scullton.
  Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon in the Scullton Church of 
the Brethren.  Interment in the church cemetery.
