Born Dec. 2, 1904 in Middlecreek Township, a son of the late Homer D. and Minnie Snyder Pyle. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Pyle) Pyle of Rockwood Rd 2; two sons, Richard Gale Pyle of S. Carolina and George, at home; one stepson, Blaine Pyle of Garrett; four daughters: Mrs. Terry Colflesh of Confluence RD 3; Mrs. Anna Vetters of Virginia; Miss Bonnie and Miss Betty Jean, both at home; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today where services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Gene Abel officiating.
