  MURIEL PYLE
  
  Muriel Pyle, 56, RD 8 Somerset, died July 27, 1979, in Lee Hospital,
  Johnstown.  Born Dec. 29, 1922, in Pittsburgh, daughter of late
  William Sarah (Gallagher) Brooks.  Survived by her husband, Norman S.
  Pyle Sr.; and the following children: Sarah, wife of James W. Uphouse
  of Columbia, Md.; Sgt. Norman S. Pyle, Jr. of Havelock, N.C.; Amy Jo
  Pyle and Beth Pyle, both of Columbia; three grandchildren: Elizabeth
  and Ann Uphouse and Jeffrey Pyle.  A member of Calvary United
  Methodist Church, Somerset Trinity Chapter of the O.E.S., Somerset
  Garden Club, Somerset branch of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra. 
  Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Calvary United
  Methodist Church in Somerset with the Rev. Arnold Kastner
  officiating.  The family suggests contributions be sent to the
  American Cancer Society.  Services are being handled by the Richard
  E. Hauger Funeral Home.
