  RUBY E. PYLE
  
    Ruby E. Pyle, 83, of Somerset RD 1 died Sept. 1, 1996, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 23, 1913, in Somerset Township.  Daughter of the
  late Homer and Florence (Fisher) Ansell.  Preceded in death by
  husband, Ralph H., in 1974; two sons: Frederick Lee and Donald
  William; a sister, Evelyn Shumaker; a brother, Ralph Ansell, and an
  infant sister, Sarah.  Survived by a son, James R., married to the
  former Donna Barron, Somerset RD 1; three granddaughters: Dixie Lee
  Kelly, Rockwood; Brenda Lee Berkey, Jacksonville, Fla., and Holly Lee
  Hearth, Stoystown; six great-grandchildren and one
  great-great-grandchild.  Also a sister, Violet Dively, Somerset RD 6.
  Lifetime member of the Milford United Methodist Church.  Friends will
  be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Wednesday, Rev. Randall Bain officiating.  Interment, St. John
  Cemetery.
