Pyle, 79, Brookville, Pa., formerly of Somerset County, died Jan. 18, 1983, at the Jefferson Manor, Brookville. Born Sept. 30, 1904, daughter of Ira L. and Pearl (Jacko) Criss Sr. Survived by one son, Perry B. Pyle of Brookville; Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Harron, Jacksonville, Fla.; Donwydette "Dumpy" McPherson, also of Brookville; one brother, Ira Criss Jr. of Vanceburg, Ky.; one sister, Esther Pyle of Northeast, Pa.; also by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, the Rev. Perry E. Pyle, who died in 1980; and one brother. Viewing will be at the Terry L. Beamer Funeral Home, Brookville, from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday and until 1 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, the Rev. David Davis, the Rev. Ivan Thompson, and the Rev. Tom Snyder. Interment will be Monday at 1 p.m., Addison Cemetery.
