"Webb" Pyle, 85, Somerset RD 2 and Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, died April 15, 1993 in Somerset Hospital. Born March 6, 1908 in Somerset Township, son of Calvin and Susan (Ferguson) Pyle. Preceded by his parents; his first wife, Edna Lafferty; second wife, Ruth Darr; and eight brothers and sisters. Survived by wife, Dorothy Hornig, and these childen, Lowell E., married to the former Janice Beltrami, Acosta; Wilbur "Skip" Jr., married to the former Yvonne Gohn, Somerset; Eleanor, wife of William Soisson, Friedens RD 2; Dottie Gracie, wife of Mark Borosky, Somerset RD 2; Karen, wife of John Delancy, Plant City, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Brother of Calvin A. Pyle, Berlin; Elda Fisher and Pauline Gross, both of Somerset RD 6, and June Schrock, Rockwood. Member of First United Methodist Church, Somerset. Retired from Chessie and B&O Railroad after 49 years service. A 52 year member of F.O.E. 1801, Somerset; and former operator and owner for 20 years of Pyle Service Station, Sipesville. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Friday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Arthur Gotjen.
