(Wolf) Qualters, 89, North Side, Pittsburgh died Feb. 25, 2001. Born March 10, 1911 to the late Frank and Stella Wolf. Married the late Robert L. Qualters of McKeesport and raised children, Robert Jr., Priscilla and Margaret. Long-time resident of McKeesport and Clairton, recently of the North Side, Pittsburgh. Survived by children Robert L. and Margaret K. (Maggie) Qualters of Pittsburgh and Priscilla McFadden Burke of Addison. Grandchildren Brett and Robert L. Qualters III and Ann McFadden Nolf and by six great-grandchildren. Graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a masters in education, 1953. Taught second grade in McKeesport and Clairton and Hialeah, Fla. Managed Qualters Realty and Insurance Agency in Clairton until 1964 when she returned to the University of Pittsburgh as a doctoral candidate in education of the visually limited. Taught at Overbrook School for the Blind and Logan School in Philadelphia until 1970 and retired to open Stella's Cards and Gifts Shop in Clairton. Retired again in 1979 to paint, travel and volunteer with Hospice at Wuesthof Hospital, Cocoa, Fla. Exhibited Carson Street, Gallery, Pittsburgh, with a ten-year retrospective in 1990 and the Peoples' Building in McKeesport, 1996, with sales benefiting a scholarship fund for art education. Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. March 10 at St. Peter Church, Arch Street, Pittsburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's favorite charity. Daily American, March 1, 2001 [Q0002]
