Queer, 82, of Oak Street, Somerset, died Jan. 25, 1984, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Sept. 30, 1901, in Somerset Township, son of Allen and Anna Mary (Fisher) Queer. Preceded in death by parents and two brothers. Survived by wife, the former Erma Stahl; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann (Harold) Boyts, Somerset RD 2; and one grandson, Earl Clyde Boyts, Warren, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Michelle; one great-great-grandson, Joshua Boyts. Brother of Emily Hauger, Somerset; Stella Brown, Quecreek; Mrs. Wilson Darr, Joliet, Ill.; Mrs. Galen Darr, Gray. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset. His death ended a marriage union of 63 years. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today (Friday) and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, at 1:30 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. H. James Meyers and the Rev. George Walton officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
