Born Dec. 24, 1888, in Jenner Township, a son of Joseph and Nancy (Friedline) Queer. Preceded in death by parents, first wife, the former Emma Hammer, and second wife, Ethel Yoder, and a brother, William. Member of Ferndale United Methodist Church and Sunday school teacher at Ferndale United Methodist Church. Also a Sunday school teacher at Sipesville Church of the Brethren. He was a retired school teacher at Greater Johnstown school district. Friends received 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday (today) at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, Johnstown. Friends also received 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Viewing Thursday 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m., Sipesville Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Thomas M.
