  QUEER
  
  Mrs. Melda M. Queer, 73, of Somerset RD 2, died Dec. 10, 1973, in
  Windber Hospital.  She was born Nov. 23, 1900, in Somerset County a
  daughter of the late Phillip and Mary (Baker) Menser.  Preceded in
  death by her husband, Robert in 1960, one daughter, Lona Mae Dickey,
  three sisters and a brother.  Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Winifred
  Walker of Somerset RD 2; one son, Jay Queer of Somerset; 12
  grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are one
  brother, Freeman Menser of Somerset RD 5, and a sister, Mrs. Cora
  Weimer of Somerset RD 5.  Member of Johovah's Witnesses of
  Somerset.  Friends are being received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral
  Home where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
  with James R. Kinneer officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
