  WILLIAM K. QUEER
  
  William K. Queer, 89, Somerset, died June 5, 2004, at Somerset Hospital.
  Born Sept. 30, 1914, in Somerset, the son of the late Harry and Effie
  (Stutzman) Queer.  Also preceded in death by sister Lena St. Clair and
  brothers, Nevin and Harry.  Survived by his wife of 69 years, Helen Cook
  Queer; daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Daphne) Rhine, College Park, Md.;
  grandchildren, Mrs. Amy Batten, College Park, Md., and Scott Rhine and wife
  Marianne, Mt. Airy, Md.; and great-grandchildren, Daniel and Leanne Batten
  of College Park, Md., and Scott, Zachary, Alex and Morgan Rhine of Mt.
  Airy, Md. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset Volunteer Fire
  Department, and F.O.E. Aire 1801.  Worked many years for P.A. Schell
  Hardware, D.W. Rhoads Co. and was branch manager for S.E. Williams Supply
  Co., and courier for Somerset Trust Co.  A 1932 graduate of Somerset High
  School.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
  Pastor Susan Yatta officiating.  Interment in Husband Cemetery.
