Quick, 65, of Centralia, Ill., formerly of Salisbury, Md., and Somerset County, died Friday, June 3, 1994, at her residence. Born Sept. 6, 1928, in Boulder, Ill., the daughter of Fred and Aletha (Lanham) Sanders. She married Willard Quick in Centralia and he preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 1992. She is survived by a son, Perry Quick, and a daughter, Becky Barger, both of Centralia; five grandchildren; three brothers, Don Sanders of Steelville, Ill.; Dean Sanders of Centralia, Ill.; one sister, June Spurgin of St. Joseph's, Mo. She was a former member and Sunday school teacher at the East Moreland Presbyterian Church in Portland and the Milwaukie Covenant Church in Milwaukie, Ore. She was a lifetime seamstress and self-employed upholsterer. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at the Day Funeral Home in Sandoval, Ill., with the Rev. Joe Alford officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. Friends my call at the Day Funeral Home from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
