Those from here who attended the funeral at Addison on Monday were: Mr. and Mrs. Ray Burrow, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Lenhart and daughter, Jean; Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Lenhart and daughter Della; Mrs. Mary Shaffer, Nelle Shaffer, Mrs. Laura Foy, Mrs. Will Rodehaver and Mrs. Lillie Lininger. The relatives were Willis Bender and two sons, Chester and James, and daughter, Mae; Lloyd Bender and two daughters, Louise and Helen Bender. Mrs. Quinn was born and reared here. Meyersdale Republican, April 30, 1931 ----- CYNTHIA BENDER QUINN LISTONBURG, May 12 - Mrs. Cynthia Bender Quinn died April 24, at the age of 31 years, 4 months and 15 days, having been born Dec. 9, 1899. She was a daughter of Joseph and Nettie (Wilkins) Bender and was born and reared at Listonburg. She leaves her husband and four children, also her mother and the following named sisters and brothers: Mrs. Josiah Mets, Mrs. Reba Cathell, Mrs. Florence Hoby and Ray, John and James Bender, who reside at Clairton, Pa. The remains were brought from East McKeesport to Addison Cemetery and laid to rest in the lot with her father who died two years ago. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. Meyersdale Republican, May 14, 1931 ------ CYNTHIA EARLY-QUINN Mrs. Cynthia Early-Quinn, aged 30 years, wife of Clarence Quinn of Oakdale Road, East McKeesport, died this morning at 12:12 o'clock at the McKeesport Hospital. She was born in Somerset County, the daughter of Mrs. Nettie Bender and the late Joseph Bender. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son and two daughers, Robert, June and Lillian; by her mother, Mrs. Nettie Bender, and by three brothers and three sisters, Ray, John, James, Josephine, Reba and Florence. Funeral services will be held at the home of her mother, 532 State Street, Clairton, Monday morning with interment following at Addison Cemetery. McKeesport Daily News, April 25, 1931, page 19
