Quinn, 37, of Washington, D.C., died Thursday, Nov. 2, in the George Washington Hospital. A native of Meyersdale, he had resided in Washington for the past 15 years. He was with the Water and Power Resources Board of Pennsylvania as a Washington representative in flood-control projects for several years before he joined the War Department in 1939. At the time of his death he was a planning specialist in real estate in the office of the chief of engineers, War Department. Mr. Quinn was a member of the Knights of Columbus and at one time was active in the Pennsylvania State Democratic Committee. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Camille Soldana Quinn, a son, Thomas J., a daughter, Mary Theresa, and his mother, Mrs. Grace L. Quinn, Washington; one sister, Mrs. Rita Weimer, Meyersdale; and three brothers, Richard P. Quinn, Washington, James T. Quinn with the Army in England, and John F. Quinn, Detroit. Funeral services were held at his home at 8:30 a.m. Monday, followed by Requiem mass at 9 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church. Burial was made in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Washington. His sister, Mrs. Rita Weimer, and aunt, Mrs. Edward Foley, of Meyersdale, went to Washington to attend the funeral services. Meyersdale Republican, November 9, 1944
