Ringler, 80, a prominent resident of Hooversville died Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Hershberger in that place. Death resulted from lobar pneumonia. Mr. Ringler was born in Somerset county and spent his entire life in that community. His wife, Mrs. Hannah (Wolfe) Ringler, died 12 years ago. Surviving are these children: William E. Ringler of Hooversville, Edward Ringler of Blough Station; Mrs. Z. M. Thomas of Boswell, Harry Ringler of Ehrenfeld, Mrs. Charles Hershberger mentioned above; Dorsey Ringler of Rummel, Mrs. Frank Fyock of Somerset county, Grant Ringler of Westmont, Johnstown, and Mrs. A. C. Dabhenbough of the state of Oregon. Also surviving are 69 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Frank Ringler, Mrs. Jeremiah Gezler, and Mrs. Mary Berkheimer, all of Akron, O. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 this Tuesday afternoon at St. Thomas Lutheran church, located between Hooversville and Windber. Rev. Russell Shilling, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
