  RACE
  
  Howard R. Race, 68, of Meyersdale, died Sept. 15, 1994, in Branson, Mo.
  Born Feb. 11, 1926, in Rockwood, son of the late Louis and Jenny (Foy)
  Race.  Also preceded in death by a brother, Harry, and a sister, Edna Perry.
  Survived by his wife, the former Margaret A. Caton, two brothers: Bernard
  Race, and Charles Race both of Meyersdale RD 3, and a sister, Doris Hayman,
  Rockwood.  A veteran of U.S. Navy WW II.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Mass of
  Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at SS. Philip & James Catholic
  Church, Meyersdale with the Rev. James F. Bunn officiating.  Interment,
  church cemetery.
