She was married Aug. 7, 1898, to Lyman Miles Raebeck, who survives. She was a faithful member of the Christian Church and belonged to the Confluence W.B.A. Lodge, the members of which in passing the body on the day of the funeral, each dropped a flower, which was a loving tribute. She was a most beautiful character, a devoted wife and loving mother and a faithful friend and neighbor. She is survived by three children: Mrs. Vivian R. Hammil of Confluence; Mrs. Faye LaRue of Piedmont, W.Va., and Elliott Raebeck of Confluence, who is an officer in a Western CCC camp and traveled day and night to get here in time for the funeral which was held Sunday afternoon. Rev. E. M. Oakes, pastor of her church, officated and Charles Humbert was funeral director. Burial was made in the Addison Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, November 14, 1940
