  EVERETT V. RALEY 
  
  Everett V. Raley, 54, of Grantsville RD 1, died Dec. 9, 1977, at Memorial
  Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  He was born at New Germany, Md., a son of the
  late Thomas and Dora (Durst) Raley.  He is survived by his widow, Mary
  Shuchman and one son, Francis Raley, both of Baltimore, Md.; one brother,
  Cecil, Grantsville, Md.; three half-brothers: Melvin, Safety Harbor, Fla.,
  Clarence W. and Robert L., both of Cumberland, Md.; one foster brother, H.
  Carl Stephens, Belair, Md.; two half-sisters, Vivian Stone, Thurmont, Md.,
  and Pansy Young, Baltimore; Md.; three foster sisters: Margaret Knox,
  Grantsville, Md., Grace Troft, Pinto, Md., and Mrs. June Beachy,
  Grantsville, Md., with whom he resided.  He is also survived by two
  grandchildren, Kimberly and Michael Raley, both of Baltimore, Md.  He was a
  member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Grantsville, Md., and the High
  Country CB Club.  Services were held Monday at the Newman Funeral Home with
  Rev. David Fetter and Rev. Paul Yoder officiating.  Interment, Grantsville
  Cemetery.  The family requests that contributions be made to the Northern
  Garrett County Rescue Squad or the American Lung Association in lieu of
  flowers.
