SARA RALSTON

  Mrs. Sara Ralston, aged 83 years, died very suddenly of heart trouble at the 
home of her son, Charles, of Frostburg, Saturday noon, Dec. 26.  She was born at 
Bittinger.  Her maiden name was Sara Cunningham.  Her husband died 28 years ago.  
She is survived by the following children:  Martin Luther, William and Charles 
Ralston, of Frostburg; Mrs. Ella Hendershot, Morgantown, W.Va.; Mrs. Thomas 
Swann, Bloomington, Md.; Mrs. Gene Belote, Eufaula, Ala.; Mrs. Jefferson 
Thompson, Indiana, Pa.; also by one sister, Mrs. Mollie C. Mitchell, of Oakland, 
and 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
  Funeral services were held at the Bittinger Lutheran Church on Monday morning 
at 10:30 o'clock.  Rev. Walter V. Simon, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 
Frostburg, of which she was a member, officiated.  She was buried beside her 
husband in the church cemetery.
