Ramer, of Martinsburg, W.Va., at one time residents of Meyersdale, died at her home "Bridgeview" Charles Town Road, near Martinsburg, on Friday, August 14, 1942 after a long illness. Born in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Harrison Douglas and Almeda Morrow Kilmer. For many years she was associated with her husband in the hotel business. For a number of years they were the proprietors of the Colonial Hotel in Meyersdale, and later of the Berkeley Hotel in Martinsburg. Mr. Ramer passed away there some years ago. Surviving are two sisters, Misses Bessie and Rebecca Kilmer, Charlestown Road, and one brother, H. Raymond, Washington. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 16 at 4:00 p.m., at her home followed by burial in Green Hill. Meyersdale Republican, August 27, 1942
