RAMER On Sunday morning, Feb. 2, at 2:30 o'clock, Peyton H. Ramer passed away peacefully at his home in Martinsburg, W.Va., after an illness of several years. He is survived by his wife, who ministered to him during the years of his illness with unfailing devotion. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held at his late home on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 2:30 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Ramer lived in Meyersdale from 1914 to 1924, during which time Mr. Ramer was the proprietor of the Colonial Hotel. From here they went to Martinsburg, W.Va., which had been their former home, and for several years after their return to that place he was proprietor of Hotel Berkley which was established by his father many years ago and which he had managed in his younger days. Ill health forced him to retire several years ago. While in Meyersdale Mr. and Mrs. Ramer took an active interest in local affairs and made many warm friends, who regret his demise and sympathize with Mrs. Ramer in her bereavement.
