  HELEN V. RANKIN
  
  Helen V. Rankin, 81, of Meyersdale, died Feb. 16, 2004, at Meyersdale
  Medical Center.  Born Aug. 11, 1922, in Ridgeley, W.Va., a daughter of the
  late Roy and Catherine (Hare) Stark.  Also preceded in death by her husband,
  Robert Rankin and a brother, Paul Stark.  Survived by three sisters,
  Catherine Cochrane, Meyersdale, Betty Showalter, Salisbury and Sally Irwin,
  Cumberland, Md. and three brothers, Raymond Stark, Wadsworth, Ohio, Leo
  Stark, Wadsworth, Ohio and Bill Stark, Pinson, Ala.  Also a number of nieces
  and nephews.  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at
  the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted 8 p.m.
  Thursday.  The Rev. Joseph Onder officiating.  Interment Salisbury Cemetery,
  Salisbury.  Arrangements by the William Rowe Price Funeral Home Inc.,
  Meyersdale.

    Helen V. Rankin, 81, of Meyersdale, died Monday, February 16, 2004, at
  Meyersdale Medical Center.
    Born August 11, 1922, in Ridgeley, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late
  Roy and Catherine (Hare) Stark.
    She was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Rankin, and a brother
  Paul Stark.
    She is survived by three sisters:  Catherine Cochrane, Meyersdale; Betty
  Showalter, Salisbury; and Sally Irwin, Cumberland, Md.; and three
  brothers:  Raymond Stark, Wadsworth, Ohio; Leo Stark, Wadsworth; and Bill
  Stark, Pinson, Al.  Also a number of nieces and nephews.
    Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral
  Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday,
  with the Rev. Joseph Onder officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery,
  Salisbury.
