  JESSIE B. RANKIN 
  
  Jessie B. Rankin, 91, of 123 Maple Street, died November 28, 1982 at
  Frostburg Community Hospital, Maryland.  Born in Vale Summit, she was a
  daughter of the late John McFarland and the late Elizabeth (Loar)
  McFarland.  Her husband, Irvin Rankin, preceded her in death.  She had
  attended Eckhart Baptist Church and was the last surviving offspring of the
  McFarland family.  She is survived by three daughters, Miss Margaret Rankin,
  at home, Mrs. Robert Knieriem of Frostburg and Mrs. Bernard Keim of Berlin,
  three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Friends were received at
  the Sowers Funeral Home where services were conducted with the Rev. Sidney
  S. Aldrich officiating.  Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
