EMMA RAUB

  Mrs. Emma (Marteeny) Raub, a former resident of Meyersdale, widow of Henry T. 
Raub, late of Bethlehem, passed away suddenly early Wednesday morning, May 14, 
1941, at her late home in Scottdale, at the age of 76 years.
  She was born in Michigan, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Marteeny, and when 
quite young came to Meyersdale to live.
  She was a sister of Simon Marteeny, Mrs. Michael Brown and Mrs. Peter Shultz.  
She is survived by one son, William A. Evans, of Scottdale, a nephew, Elias 
Marteeny, of Meyersdale, and these nieces, Mrs. Ira Fike, Mrs. 
Samuel Saylor, Mrs. Howard Speicher, Mrs. Ben Reiber and Mrs. S. M. Hoover.
  Her body will be brought to Meyersdale at noon Saturday, when it will lie in 
state at the Main Street Brethren Church until 2:30 Saturday afternoon, when 
funeral services will be conducted by Rev. O. A. Lorenz, pastor.  Interment will 
be made in Union Cemetery.
