Rauch of Orlando, Fla., died Dec. 7, 1977, in Florida Hospital, Orlando. Born in Garrett, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Hoof) Phennicie. Preceded in death by her husband, the late Henry L. Rauch, who was vice-president of the Indian Oil Refinery Company. She and her husband went to Orlando in 1938 to make their home in a suitable climate because of her husband's poor health. Mr. Rauch died in 1947. After his death, she returned north for a short period of time, but returned to Orlando in 1953. Mrs. Rauch by profession was a milliner before her marraige and because of this, she purchased the Vogue Hat Shop in the O'Neil Archade in downtown Orlando, which she operated for a period of 23 years when she retired in 1976 because of poor health. She is surivived by two sisters, Mrs. Claire B. Parr of Baltimore, Md.; and Anna E. Phennicie of Garrett, and also ten nephews and one niece. She was a Protestant by faith and a member of the Lutheran Church. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Jason Stanton. Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
