Raupach, 69, of State College, died April 25, 2003 at his residence. Born Sept. 24, 1933 in Glencoe, he is the son of Frederick M. and Beulah (Leister) Raupach. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Larry R. and Jack W. Raupach. Survived by his wife, the former Janet Brant whom he married June 11, 1966; children, Kathleen J. married to Jerry A. Learn, West Milton, Vt.; David D. of Mance; Anne M., State College; grandchildren Zachary and Ezra Raupach-Learn; brothers, Ray F., Cranesville; Guy A. and his wife Geraldine, Robert A.; James I. and his wife Donna, all of Glencoe; and a sister, Sandra M. married to Paul Keefer, Glencoe. He was a retired nuclear engineering utility specialist for Penn State. He was a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, Meyersdale; Somerset-Cambria Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution; Meyersdale Lodge F & AM 554; Board of Directors of Homewood Retirement Center, Martinsburg; Army veteran of the Korean War; graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School class of 1951, DeVry Technical Institute and Penn State University. He enjoyed gardening, spending time on the family farm, studying genealogy and his dog "Katie". Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. and also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at New Hope United Church of Christ. Rev. LaMar Bender and Rev. Ralph Landis officiating. Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
