  Kenneth W. Raupach Sr., 79, of Rio Rancho, N.M., died March 20, 1997, in
  Rio Rancho.  Born Dec. 18, 1917, in Fairhope, a son of the late William A.
  and Celia (Smith) Raupach.  Preceded in death by his wife, Frances
  (Nicholson) Raupach.  Also sister, Phyllis Custer, and brothers, Jay and
  Robert.  Survived by these children: Miriam Heil and Kenneth Jr. of Rio
  Rancho. and Jack of Simi Valley, Calif.; also three grandchildren, a number
  of great-grandchildren, and a brother, Wayne A. Raupach of Berlin.  U.S. Army
  veteran. Graduated from Rockwood High School in 1937.  Retired from JC.
  Penney, Cleveland.  Member of Cleveland City F.A.A.M. Lodge 15, AASR Valley
  of Santa Fe and Albuquerque Shrine.
