Raupach, 78, of Berlin, died April 30. 2002, at home. Born Feb. 6, 1924 in Rockwood, a son of the late William A. and Celia (Smith) Raupach. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Mosgrave (Lawson) Raupach; two sons, Ronald G. Raupach of Meyersdale and Mark A Raupach of Mentor, Ohio; two daughters, Virginia Simon of Friedens and Eleanor Kovacs of Willow Bay, Ohio; five grandchildren, Sean Shumaker, Jason Raupach, Kristin Kovacs, Jessica Raupach and Angela Kovacs and one great-grandson, Patrick Shumaker. He was retired from the Lincoln Electric Company, Cleveland. He was a World War II veteran serving with the 11th Armored Division B Battery. A member and past master of Meyersdale Lodge F & AM 554, member and past high priest of Meyersdale Hebron Chapter 272, past president of the Somerset County Shrine Club, a member of the Harrisburg Consistory. Berlin American Legion and VFW, Berlin Last Man's Club, Berlin Sportsmen's Club, Berlin Historical Society and served on the Berlin Municipal Authority. Friends will be received after 6 p.m., Friday, at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home where a Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m., and a memorial service at 8:30 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Landis officiating. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
