A son of John and Mary Ann (Deal) Ravenscraft, he was born on March 24, 1872 in Frostburg, Md. Mr. Ravenscraft was a retired employee of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Sarah (Lenhart) Ravenscraft, he leaves six children - Mrs. Alvey Hahn and John H. Ravenscraft, both of Akron, O.; Mrs. Henry Voughtman, Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. Dale Rodeman, Stahlstown; Marcellus, Cincinnati, O., and Theodore, Windber. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and a brother, Theodore Ravenscraft, Somerset. Funeral services will be held at the home, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. R. M. Dunkelbarger, followed by interment in Union Cemetery. Funeral arrangements under the direction of W. C. Price and Son. Meyersdale Republican, February 3, 1944
